Before the course begins, you will join a small-group planning session where we work with you to identify an OpenClaw project that is directly relevant to your career. Whether you work in finance, healthcare, legal, education, or tech, we help you scope a meaningful problem so that every hour of the course is building toward something you can actually use — and talk about in interviews or at work.

Session 1: OpenClaw Fundamentals & Your First Pipeline

Set up OpenClaw and understand its core abstractions: agents, tools, and pipelines. You will connect a language model to a real-world API and run your first working pipeline. By the end of this session you will have a running foundation that is already shaped around the career project you scoped in week 0.

Session 2: Tool-Calling, Chaining & Memory

Extend your pipeline to call external tools — web search, databases, custom functions — and chain multiple steps into coherent workflows. We then add memory so your agent can retain context across interactions. You will leave this session with a meaningfully more capable version of your career project.

Session 3: Deployment, Evaluation & Project Showcase

Package your OpenClaw application, deploy it as a live API, and walk through OpenClaw's evaluation and tracing tools to make it reliable. The session closes with a project showcase where each participant demos their finished application and receives feedback from the group and instructor.
